The Modular Desktop CNC was a medium sized desktop CNC that was released on Kickstarter on Jan 1st 2011. The project had a goal of $10,000 and surpassed that goal in 7 days. It ended up fully funded on Feb 15th 2011 having surpassed the goal to reach $47,608 from 69 backers[1].
